All persons who hold a firearms licence or permit must comply with the general legislative requirements of the Firearms Act 1996 and the Firearms Regulation 2006. Similarly, all persons who hold a prohibited weapon permit must comply with the general legislative requirements of the Weapons Prohibition Act 1998 and the Weapons Prohibition Regulation 2009.
